Sydney Track Classic Event
- Sally McLellan produced an Olympic A-Qualifier in the 100m hurdles clocking 12.81 seconds. (Fastest time ever by an Australian on an Australian track)
- Sally also blitzed the 100m sprint, clocking a wind-assisted 11:26 seconds
- Fiona Cullen placed third in the 100m hurdles in 13:47 seconds

- Jared Graves - first place elite men's

Water Polo
- In a five game test series against USA the Aussie Stingers claimed the series winning three of the five games and drawing two.
- QAS athletes on the team included Kate Gynther (10 goals), Bronwen Knox (5 goals), Melissa Rippon (4 goals), Amy Hetzel, Sarah Mills, Suzie Fraser (2 goals) and Sophie Smith (3 goals).

Cycling
- Steven Janssen placed first in the junior men's race at the BMX UCI Oceania Ranking Round held at Nerang on the Gold Coast.
- Ruth Corset finished fourth in the Australian Women's National Road Race, while Kristy Broun finished tenth.
- Malcolm Rudolph finished 38th in the Australian U23 National Road Race.
- Daniel Hallam finished 15th in the Australian U23 National MTB Championships
- Ruth Corset has been offered a start for the Australian B Team in the upcoming tour of New Zealand.
- Kristy Broun, Philippa Hindmarsh, Tom Richards and Ivan Cook have all been selected to represent Queensland at the National Track Championships.
Queensland State Track Championships:
- Malcolm Rudolph finished 1st in the Elite Points Race
- Ivan Cook finished 1st in the U19 Keirin and Sprint
- Tom Richards finished 1st in the U19 Points Race

- 2008 Queensland U18 Men's Team: Shaun Furtado, Michael Harris, Kane Posselt (shadow) and Ethan Quan (shadow).
- 2008 Queensland U18 Female's Team: Jacqui Day, Tammy Eiser, Stacey Neller, Kandice Oliverie, Jordan Beard (shadow), Christee Bishop (shadow) and Katelin Marks (shadow).
Cricket
- Jessica Jonassen, Nicole Curtis, Elise Hackett, Shaye Easton and Rochelle Milne were members of the Queensland U17 Women's Team who finished third at the National Championships.
- Jessica Jonassen has been selected in the Australian U17 Honorary Team.
- Stephanie Baldwin, Stephanie Egan and Jessica Jonassen were members of the Queensland U19 Women's Team who finished second at the National Championships.
- Andrew Boyle and Matthew Crow were members of the Queensland U17 Men's Team who finished third at the National Championships.
