Osaka Grand Prix - IAAF World Athletics Tour
• Sally McLellan won the 100m women's sprint event in 11.46
• Sally McLellan is placed equal 1ston 26 points for 100m sprint and equal 2nd on 16 points for 100m hurdles.
• Chris Noffke and Matt Davies who have already qualified for the World Championships placed 7th in the 4x100m relay
• Liam Zamel-Paez is equal 3rd on 10 points in men's high jump and Joshua Robinson is 5th on 15 points in men's javelin throw.
Canoeing
• Jacob Clear competed in the World Cup 2 event in Poznan, Poland picking up gold in the B final of the men's K2 1000m event.
Cycling
• Jared Graves had consecutive wins in the World Cup 4X series. Winning in South Africa and Belgium.
• He is leading the UCI BMX 4X Series rankings, 250 points clear of his nearest rival
BMX Nationals - Perth
• Melissa Mankowski and Rachel Bracken qualified for the final of the women's division. Melissa placed second and Rachel finished sixth.
Football
• QAS athletes on the Young Matildas team (Tameka Butt (captain), Casey Dumont, Ellise Kellond-Knight and Courtney Beutel) are touring Europe and won their first two matches against Finland. (4-1 and 7-0)
• They also won their match against Germany U-19 women 3-0

Triathlon
2009 World Championship Series
• Emma Snowsill won the inaugural World Championship Series race in Tongyeong, South Korea. Emma Moffatt placed second in this race
• Courtney Atkinson placed second in the second race of the series in Madrid, behind Alistair Brownlee from Great Britain
Water Polo
• The Brisbane Barracudas team have claimed top honours in the women's division of the 2009 National Water Polo League. Defeating the Balmain Tigers 11-9, the Barracudas forced the Tigers into receiving their fourth silver medal in this tournament.
• In the men's division, the KFC Breakers took out the bronze medal defeating the Balmain Tigers convincingly, 16-9.
• QAS athlete Anthony Martin scored four goals to take his season total to an impressive fifty-one goals. QAS athletes also on the team included Rafael Sterk, Mitch McCann, Daniel Streets, David Will, Billy Miller, Jordan Votan and Sam Robertson.
• QAS athletes Hannah Robinson, Ashleigh Southern, Sarah Mills, Sophie Smith, Bronwen Knox, Kate Miller, Jane Moran, Nanda Stoltz, Melissa Rippon and Kate Gynther were named in the AIS Training Camp squad. The teams for the World League, World Student Games and World Championships will be selected from this group.
• QAS athletes Kelsey Wakefield and Ashleigh Southern have been selected in the 2009 18 and Under Youth Squad for the Test Series versus New Zealand. A squad of fifteen will also be selected for a tour in Europe on 1st June.
• Kelsey Wakefield and Ashleigh Southern will join fellow QAS athletes Emily Young, Hannah Robinson, Kate Miller, Stephanie Thomas and Nanda Stoltz in the 20 and Under Junior Squad with a team to be selected for a tour in Europe in August.
