Queensland cyclists joined more than 150 of Australia’s best track cyclists at the 2015 Subaru Track National Championships held at the Melbourne’s Darebin International Sports Centre from 29–31 January.

On Saturday night, the Elite Women’s races kicked off with the Women’s 10km Scratch Race. Queensland’s Sheridan Spark narrowly missed out on first place in the final lunge, finishing second ahead of fellow Queenslander, Quinn Cramer.

Daniel Fitter finished in third place in the Elite Men’s Individual Pursuit. Team mate Mitch Mulhern finished second in the Elite Men’s Team Pursuit.

Queensland’s Brooke Tucker sprung onto the national stage in sensational fashion as she claimed the U19 Women’s title for the Sprint, defeating Keirin champion Tahlay Christie in three heats. Brooke then went on to take second place in the U19 Women’s Kierin and third place in the U19 Women’s Time Trial.

Not far behind Brooke was Queensland’s Kristina Clonan who finished second place in the U19 Women’s Scratch Race and third place in the U19 Women’s Points Race.
