Christmas opening hours for QAS facilities

The following security access arrangements have been made during the stand down period between 6pm Saturday 24 December 2016 and 6am Tuesday 3 January 2017.
Access to the main premises
During the period between 25 December 2016 and 2 January 2017, the QAS building will be fully alarmed and secure.
Unless you have prior approved access there will be no entry permitted for staff and or associates over these nine days. Security will be given a list of those who have authorised after-hours access.
Those accessing the premises after-hours are required to turn the alarms on and off independently. The main automatic glass opening doors to the building will not be open.
Access to the gymnasium
Access to the QAS Gym between Monday 26 December and Saturday 31 December will be for the hours between 6.00am and 6.00pm. As a result of these limited access arrangements athlete access cards will not operate, requiring full coach supervision as per standard weekend procedure. (QAS Coaches or Strength and Conditioning Coaches will have the only access)
- Sunday 25 Dec: building fully alarmed and secure with no access to anyone.
- Monday 26 Dec to Friday 30 Dec: Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach Chris Gaviglio will be available for general supervision between 8.00am and 10.30am
- Saturday 31 Dec – Sunday 2 Jan 2017: building will remain fully alarmed and secure with no access to anyone.
AIndoor Sports Hall: available 6am–6pm
For Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 December 2016, the Indoor Sports Hall will be fully alarmed, secure and with no access approved for anyone. This restriction will also apply for Sunday 1 and Monday 2 January 2017.
For the days between Tuesday 27 and Saturday 31 December 2016 standard weekend arrangements will be adopted, with access granted to those who are approved and with a pre-arranged booking.
Access to Recovery Centre
The Recovery Centre will be closed for the duration of the stand down period – with no access to any athlete, coach or client between the dates of Friday 25 Dec 2016 and through to Sunday 2 January 2017.
Access to the main building and facilities will be business as usual from 3 January 2017.
