    Forming part of the QAS Sports Medicine Department, the QAS Sport and Exercise Psychology Network assists athletes to enhance their performance via ongoing development of their mental skills and abilities.

    Sports Nutrition forms a part of the QAS Sports Medicine section.

  • Physiotherapy/Massage

    The QAS physiotherapy network comprises a group of highly qualified physiotherapists with extensive experience in elite sport at the state, national and international level.

    The QAS employs coaches to implement elite training programs for the Academy's athletes.

  • Athlete Career and Education

    The Athlete Career and Education Program (ACE) is a nation-wide program run through the Australian Institute of Sport and state institutes and academies of sport.

  • Centre of Excellence for Applied Sport Science Research

    Building on the successes of the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), the Queensland Government established the Centre of Excellence for Applied Sport Science Research (CoE) in 2003.

  • Information Centre

    The QAS Information Centre houses books, journals, reports, DVDs, CD ROMs and videos on a range of subjects relating to sport, with a particular focus on sport science, sport medicine and coaching.
