FINA Arena World Cup teams announced
Five QAS athletes will compete in three of the short course swim meets that make up the FINA Arena World Cup Series, which kicks off in Durban on 16th October.
Nicholas D'Arcy and Melanie Schlanger will compete in the events in Stockholm (10-11 November), Berlin (14-15 November) and the Singapore event on 21 and 22nd November.
Fellow QAS athletes Leith Brodie, Christian Sprenger and Jessicah Schipper will join the team to compete in Singapore in late November.
The other swim meets will be competed on 16-17 October in Durban and on the 6-7 November in Moscow.
The lucrative series sees US$3,000 prize money split between each final place getter, with the overall male and female series winner receiving US$100,000 each, plus a US$10,000 world record bonus on offer during every race.
