The Queensland Academy of Sport swimming program consists of a network of Target Squad athletes and their coaches throughout Queensland.
The Target Squad involves leading senior Queensland swimmers in pool and Open Water events. The aim of this component of the program is to develop and support swimmers for selection in national teams for international events such as World Championships, Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Pan Pacific Championships and World Cups.
