QAS renews AlphaFit partnership to support world-class training environments
From purpose-built training spaces to smarter daily preparation, the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) and AlphaFit partnership has delivered big performance gains for Queensland athletes. Building on that strong foundation, QAS has confirmed a two-year renewal of its collaboration with the Australian strength and conditioning manufacturer.
The renewed agreement continues a partnership that has delivered tangible benefits across QAS programs, including the integration of strength and conditioning equipment directly into athlete training environments and broader support of the high-performance system.
A key outcome has been the delivery of a fully equipped strength and conditioning space within the indoor BMX Freestyle training facility on the Gold Coast, allowing athletes to transition seamlessly between riding and gym sessions. The tailored solution addressed a critical training need and enhanced daily performance preparation for QAS-supported athletes.
Beyond training equipment, AlphaFit has sponsored major QAS events such as the IGNITE 2032 conference, contributing to knowledge sharing and innovation across the high-performance network. The partnership has also provided discounted access to AlphaFit equipment and technology to QAS supported athletes.
QAS Chief Executive Officer Troy Ayres said the renewal reflected the value of partnerships that deliver real outcomes for athletes and coaches.
“This partnership is about more than equipment — it’s about building high-quality performance environments that support athlete development and progression,” Ayres said.
“AlphaFit understands the demands of high-performance sport, and their continued support allows us to invest in training solutions that are embedded into daily preparation and aligned with our long-term performance ambitions.”
AlphaFit said the renewed partnership reflected a shared commitment to supporting elite sport in Queensland.
“Working alongside the QAS gives us the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to athlete preparation and performance,” an AlphaFit spokesperson said.
“We’re proud to continue supporting Queensland athletes and to be part of a system that values quality, innovation and performance outcomes.”
The renewal reinforces a shared focus on delivering world-class training environments and supporting Queensland athletes to perform when it matters most.
