Australia’s success in the pool continued on Night 3 of the World Aquatics Championships, with Kaylee McKeown and Lani Pallister leading the charge.

McKeown stormed to gold in the Women’s 100m Backstroke, clocking 57.16 to break the Championship Record and reaffirm her status as the world’s best in the event.

In the distance freestyle final, Lani Pallister delivered a gritty performance to grab bronze in the Women’s 1500m Freestyle with a time of 15:41.18, adding another individual medal to Australia’s growing tally.

Backing up her open water success, Moesha Johnson impressed again with a 6th place finish in the same race, closing in 16:02.45.

The Aussies continue to build momentum as the competition heats up. All eyes now turn to Night 4.

On the diving boards, QAS supported divers Maddison Keeney and Alysha Koloi put in a strong performance in the Women’s 3m Synchronised event, narrowly missing the podium to place 4th.
