Our 2032 Strategy serves as the blueprint that will supercharge Queensland's efforts to identify the journeys of talented athletes and coaches towards unmatched success at the Brisbane 2032 Games. This approach will augment the diversity of sports capable of winning at the games, showcasing a broader range of medal winning moments across a larger selection of sports. These powerful narratives will not only inspire Queensland's future generations to embrace an active lifestyle but will also establish Queensland as an epicentre for sporting excellence.

Our Strategic Pillars, Goals and Outcome

  • Goal: Ensure athletes are effectively inducted, equipped with the skills to thrive and are enabled to be inspiring role models for Queensland

    Outcome: QAS enables an enriching and holistic athlete high performance journey

  • Goal: Partner with sports to systemically identify, confirm and develop future medal winning athletes

    Outcome: Queensland has an over-supply of talent in sports for the 2024, 2028 and 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games
