Paris Open Water dance card is full

Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) open water swimmers Moesha Johnson and Nick Sloman have clinched their spots for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, showcasing their talent and determination at the World Championships in Doha. Their achievements mark a significant milestone for Australian swimming.

Nick displayed exceptional endurance and technique, securing 5th place in the Men’s 10km race, while Moesha showed sheer tenacity, clinching an impressive 4th place in the Women’s 10km race.

Pending ratification by the Australian Olympic Committee, Moesha is set to make her Olympic debut alongside fellow QAS supported athlete Chelsea Gubecka in Paris, while Nick Sloman will be joined by teammate Kyle Lee from the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS).

This historic moment underscores the depth of talent within Australian swimming and promises an exciting showcase of skill in Paris in July.
