QAS team unites in pursuit of excellence
More than 120 Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) staff gathered in Brisbane this week for the much-anticipated QAS Super Huddle. The event was a key moment for teams from QAS hubs across the state to come together to connect and reflect on the organisation’s 2032 High Performance Strategy and officially launch the QAS’ new values and behaviours .
The QAS values and behaviours capture the essence of the Academy and the stories and experiences of team members.
The Super Huddle provided a chance for the QAS team to connect on the values and behaviours through shared stories, and by detailing how these values are shaping personal and professional journeys.
The QAS team engaged in interactive sessions to explore the QAS culture, emphasising the collective responsibility to embody and uphold these values in their day-to-day work.
It was a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere conducive to collaboration and mutual growth with each team member leaving with a renewed sense of motivation and purpose, and practical ways they can integrate the values and behaviours to support the QAS 2032 vision of Inspiring Extraordinary Sporting Success.
