Olympics Unleashed in Queensland Schools

The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is proud to be partnering with the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) for an exciting program - Olympics Unleashed. The program aims to Unleash the Olympic spirit in Queensland schools and communities encouraging Queenslanders to pursue their passion, be physically active and contribute to their community by identifying their strengths and being the best version of themselves.

About the program

Olympics Unleashed connects elite athletes to primary schools across Queensland, from metro to regional and remote.

Currently aimed at Year 4-6, Olympians and QAS supported athletes aspiring to represent their country at the Olympic Games and beyond will share their journey to inspire others to be the best version of themselves.

Presented in a fun, interactive and engaging way, athletes will share how they set goals, overcome challenges and demonstrate resilience throughout their athletic journey.

Scheduled around school and athlete availability, the visits also include curriculum- aligned lesson plans.
