Olympics Unleashed

The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is proud to be partnering with the Australian Olympic Committee for an exciting schools-based program - Olympics Unleashed. We want to unleash the 'Olympic Spirit' in all students to pursue their passion, whether in sport, classroom, playground, or home.

About the program

The Olympics Unleashed program sees Queensland athletes travelling to classrooms throughout the State to inspire and motivate students to unleash their passion. Presented interactively and engagingly, these ordinary people doing extraordinary things will share how they have:

• set goals
• overcome challenges
• demonstrated perseverance to unleash their potential.

The presentations are aimed at Years 4 to 6 and involve athletes sharing experiences from their Olympic and Paralympic journey that every student can learn. A bonus for the students and teachers alike is that athletes will also have time to interact and sign autographs following their presentation.
